I am hanging in there. This week has been a struggle, mostly due to hormonal issues...
I started off by losing one pound earlier in the week, but by Thursday I regained a bit (probably water weight) due to my time of the month. I am not going to get discouraged this time though because it is perfectly normal to have these kinds of hormonal fluctuations. If I stick to what is working, by the end of this coming week I should be back to where I was, and proceeding downward.
I am currently reading Jimmy Moore's "Keto Clarity", which is a summary of his experiences on a ketogenic diet, as well as the added input from some of today's top ketogenic doctors. He focuses a lot on how necessary it is to tailor your ketogenic approach to your own person needs. This can vary pretty widely between different people, so he gives some examples of what works for him, and what has worked for some other people. It has been a really useful read, and I'm glad I bought it...
