Today, I woke up hungry and 198.8 and pretty excited about losing 5 pounds in one week!
Breakfast was a celebratory shrimp omelet made with one of the duck eggs I got on Saturday at the farmer's market.
Breakfast:
Shrimp $1.14 (about 1 cup bay shrimp)
Tomato (one medium farmer's market garden tomato, YUM!) .41
Chevre (one ounce) .62
Duck egg $1.11
Coffee with half and half .52
This was an excellent omelet, and a wonderful start to the day.
I skipped lunch in favor of shopping for work clothes, and had a nice afternoon of trying on jackets and blouses, and looking longingly at shoes and housewares.
Since I didn't really have much in the way of veggies with my omelet this morning--just the one tomato, I am opting to have several with dinner.
Dinner is:
Poached salmon with lemon butter sauce $3.20
sautéed zucchini and mushrooms .70
1/2 sweet potato fried in butter .64
Raspberries $3.00
Total for the day: $11.34 (over budget, but I have some flexibility since I have had several free meals this week.) AND I only have one day left in this week...
In fact, I may have a glass of wine tonight. (I doubt I am going to eat $8.86 worth of food tomorrow.)
Oooh, that sounds good! yeah, go on, have a glass of wine with dinner. :)
