I went back to work after a week off, so my lazy vacation brunches are now replaced with a snack around 10 or 11, then lunch at about 1pm. I get home, walk for an hour or so, (usually while something is roasting in the oven) and have dinner around 7pm. Dessert, if I have it is a piece of fruit. Last night I had part of a grapefruit, tonight, I predict part of an orange... :)
Morning snack: 1 large handful sunflower seeds, small pile of baby carrots, cup of yerba mate.
Lunch: 1 serving of leftover stew from last night.
Dinner: Roast chicken (1 huge thigh), steamed broccoli, tossed salad with romaine lettuce, cucumber, 1 small tomato, 1/2 an avocado, 1 T. olive oil with lemon, salt and pepper.
Delicious! My son follows the paleo diet, and has felt so much better, reduced his inflammation rate and has lost weight. I do think we all have to customize our meals to fit our lifestyle and constitution.
