Another budget Paleo month

Even if Sean Abbott of Prague Stepchild hadn't challenged the Paleo/primal/"real food" movement to blog their food for a week with an eye to budget--I'd probably start doing it again out of sheer boredom. My blog has become increasingly boring lately (sorry), and I figure any budgetary advice I can give may be welcome. So, for the next week (if not longer) I will do my best to blog my food and budget while eating paleo-ish.

Today:

Breakfast: Two omega 3 eggs scrambled (50 cents), one small orange (20 cents), coffee (71 cents) with cream (35 cents).

Lunch: Cooked ground beef (1/4 pound--39 cents) with spinach (2 cups, wilted--26 cents) zucchini, (1/4 pound--25 cents) mushrooms 5 large (87 cents).

Dinner: Raw cheddar cheese (1.5 ounces--48 cents) Cooked ground beef (1/4 pound--39 cents), sun dried tomatoes 1/4 cup (10 cents), fresh herbs (50 cents), garlic (5 cents), zucchini(1/4 pound--25 cents), mushrooms 2.5 large (43 cents), avocado (99 cents), arugula ( 1 cup 33 cents), 1 glass wine (99 cents).
