Hello all--
I haven't had time to post much lately...
It seems like since last April, most of my free time is taken up by household chores lately. I live in a place with no dishwasher (well, unless you count me) and no clothes washer or dryer--I have to take them out to do them...If you add in the time I spend walking and grocery shopping and cooking everything from scratch, then that's pretty much all my free time...except for the quality time I try to spend with M each night.
I did have to pop in this morning and post a couple of links though. Primal Girl posted a very interesting (and poignant) tale of her experience with HS (Hidradenitis Suppurativa). HS is an autoimmune disease of unknown etiology--much like LS. It is a disease of the skin, and many people who suffer from cystic acne and other skin disorders ultimately have HS as well. I developed the symptoms for it in college, but it wasn't that bad--it got much worse last spring/summer. I cannot be sure why, but reading Primal Girl's two part series on her experiences really makes me want to start over, and try the autoimmune protocol again this time for 60 days. I will make an effort to blog about what I am eating--I find that to be the hardest part...
Here are links to her posts if you want to read her story:
