OK, so breakfast was two eggs and a slice of bacon,
lunch was salmon with Caesar salad (minus croutons),
and Dinner was grilled pork chop with avocado and steamed spinach.
I ended up not eating any snacks and I had a small piece of peach pie with coffee in the afternoon. We had guests at work from Europe and had lunch with them. The peach pie was totally not worth it. I won't be making that mistake again--I feel slightly "hung over" today, and I know it must be from the sugar, since there was no wine involved...
So today, I had one slice of bacon and two eggs, and I have a salad made up to take with me with leftover porkchop, mixed greens, and bleu cheese dressing...
I am experimenting this week with more dairy and a focus on more fat and less fruit. I am also cutting down on my protein (I think perhaps I eat too much protein). I am also going to possibly experiment with eating dinner earlier, but I don't know if that will actually work out due to my schedule...we shall see. I may possibly do some IF-ing this week as well. I have decided I cannot give up any of my walking time, so I may just not post as often, but will try to update a little each day.
Must run...work is beckoning.
I'm glad you're not giving up any walking time. Good decision. Walking is good for body and soul.
ReplyDeleteHi Sara. Like Judith I think it's best to keep it the walking!
ReplyDeleteSo difficult refusing food that everyone else is eating - so the "hangover" is actually a good thing in giving you the motivation to say no to food you don't need.
Hope you've had a good day.
