Transitioning to a Paleo/Primal Diet

I have a friend who is considering trying a Paleo diet for her Autoimmune disease, and she was asking me about it today, and I realized that right there is the perfect topic to get me back on my feet and blogging again. I am (to be honest) bored with blogging about strictly food--and being so short on time lately, I want a topic that I think could be helpful to others.

There are a lot of newbies out there who may be considering switching to a Paleo/Primal diet, and we can be useful to them. We have experience not only following the diet, but some of us are natural researchers who have loads of information at our fingertips for just these sort of situations.

So for today, a short list of places to go for advice on how to transition to a Paleo/Primal diet:

A guest post by Methuselah (of Pay Now, Live Later) for "Straight to the Bar," a weightlifting blog.

Then, a guest post by Scott Bird (of Straight to the Bar) on "Pay Now, Live Later," on his experiences as he transitioned to the Paleo diet. And another three months in...

Castle Grok--Grok takes the "caveman thing" a little far, but still, good information. Grok on!

This is an excellent resource by Dr. Ben Balzer.

Well, I guess that is it for today!

Wishing you edible food, as always, --Sara

  1. Hi Sara. Thanks for the links. I've just done 3 days without starchy carbs. I love this way of eating. But sadly cannot do it for any length of time as my skin reacts very badly (I have several serious skin conditions). But I'm going to try alternating a few days low carb with 1 or 2 days limited carbs and see if that helps.
